Take a Kid Fishing Day is scheduled for July 17. This is a great event on Lake Vermilion. Dozens of professional guides and experienced volunteer guides gather to introduce 10-15 year-old fishermen to Vermilion. Participants each go on a free guided fishing trip, have a delicious shore lunch and receive their own gift bag. Space is limited to the first 100 anglers so sign up early.
