Local chamber pop favorite Messersmith was named “premiere under-30 songwriter in the Twin Cities” by City Pages upon the release of his first album, The Alcatraz Kid. Two recordings later he continues to build
a loyal following in the Twin Cities. He unites a storytellers’ lyrics with well-crafted melodies into a
subdued and magical sound.
