Year-RoundIf you haven't raced in the Boulder Lake Ski Race & Snowshoe Stomp, you need to add this one to start off your racing season. Over its eight years, this race has continued to grow with over 250 athletes, and seems to always have snow, making it the premier early season race attracting novice to elite. This year come race under the towering White Pines and over rolling hills in either the 31 km or 10.3 km skate races, or try the 4 km or 8 km (2 laps) snowshoe. The 10.3 km does one lap while the 31 km does three. Race is located 18 miles north of Duluth on the beautiful Boulder Lake Management Ski Trails owned by Minnesota Power. All trails will be groomed for skate only as this is a skate only race. Great early season race to get under the belt before the tough marathon distances.
