If you’d like to use modern-day aluminum snowshoes, they can be rented at the Trail Center for $12. Walkers are responsible for their own rental and should pick them up before coming to the Visitor Center. Other options are to bring your own if you have them, or walk in your winter boots. The event will be held in any weather except extreme wind chill or blizzard conditions.
