Year-RoundStarting at 7:30 pm the Heartland Concert Series presents: A chamber music ensemble committed to the wonderful central European tradition of light and entertaining music. Their program transcends the notions of "classical" and "popular" music and combines their impeccable, spontaneous musicality with fun and innovative programming. The group's repertoire ranges from the Viennese Classics of the mid-1700s to the eternally beautiful waltzes, gallops, and the fantasies of the 19th century and has expanded to include some American favorites by Cole Porter and George Gershwin as well as commissions by leading composers writing in current idioms.
