As an adult (accompanied by 3 other adults who have a good interest in history & science), the content and artifacts were quite interesting. The exhibition was very reading-heavy, and was almost even too much for me, though. It was not busy (our time was maybe 1/4 full), may be difficult to take in all the reading in a crowd. The exhibit is NOT very geared toward children- aside from the actors who did an excellent job in engaging everyone, and were highly knowledgeable (KUDOS to them!) If I had paid the full-weekend price ($36 each, $72 for my husband and I!) I would have been highly disappointed. As members, it was worth the $8. Side-note, I caught a few reviews online for Pirates from other venues, but none for MN yet - (the other reviews seemed pretty accurate to the exhibition here, too if you care to read around for others)
