Imagine two 9 hole courses plowed out on Lake Minnetonka, Wayzata Bay, over 1,000 golfers with their hockey sticks and golf clubs hitting and putting tennis balls while enjoying free food, give-a-ways, prizes and costumes! Yep, that's the one and only - Wayzata Chilly Open; the largest, most well known and unusual golf tournament held in the Metro area. The Chilly Open celebrates its 29th year of golf, food, festivities and fun out on frozen Lake Minnetonka. Don't miss out on the Chili Cook-off between several local restaurants, and music by "LIVEWIRE", performing in Edina Realty & Mohawk Moving & Storage's 19th Hole Tent! This year's event, themed "BACK TO THE 80'S" will take place the second Saturday of February with tee times at 10 a.m. | 11:30 a.m. | 2:00 p.m. (pre-registered event only).
