WALK or RUN for HOPE - hope that one day we'll find the cause and cure for lupus, an autoimmune disease that affects over 20,000 Minnesotans. The 5K is open to runners or walkers, is a timed race through beautiful Essex Park on mostly paved trails; and participants receive a performance shirt. The Walk is a gentler, paved route; participants receive a t-shirt. Silent auction and more. All contributions stay here, supporting lupus research and direct client services, providing hope and helping those whose lives are touched by lupus right here, right now. 9:00 a.m. registration; 10:30 race start; pre- and post-programs, silent auction, refreshments.
