Year-RoundChoirs performing on this concert will include: The Concordia Choir-Moorhead – René Clausen, conductor; Minnesota Boychoir – Mark S. Johnson, conductor; The Singers - Minnesota Choral Artists – Matthew Culloton, conductor; American Choral Directors Association of Minnesota (ACDA-MN) State High School Honor Choir; and the University of Minnesota Singers – Kathy Romey and Matthew Mehaffey, conductors. The concert will feature a world premiere by René Clausen for festival chorus, organ, winds and percussion.
It would not be ACDA-Minnesota’s 50th anniversary without a massed choir presenting a world premiere! Join us for this historic occasion featuring a new piece by eminent Minnesota composer René Clausen. You will hear each choir raise their individual and collective voice in celebration of the distinguished legacy and vibrant future of ACDA-Minnesota. It will be a memorable finish to an amazing, music-filled weekend.
Concert is sponsored by the American Choral Directors Association of Minnesota and is part of its 50th anniversary celebration weekend.
