Love, war and revenge intertwine in one of Giuseppi Verdi’s most popular operas. Melody after melody soars through this romantic classic about a gypsy’s revenge, a son’s abduction, and a border-war in Northern Spain in the fifteenth century. Sung in Italian with piano, chorus and English surtitles. The performance for this concert on Fri. (Jan. 25, 2013) is at 7:30 PM. The performance on Sun. (Jan. 27, 2013) is at 3 PM.
