Year-RoundCelebrate the outdoor and the indoor activities of winter in Minnesota. Special displays will include Winter Carnival memorabilia, Great Northern Railway Winter Carnival uniforms, snowshoes, and a luxurious wolverine carriage blanket. Visitors can participate in indoor activities of the time before or after the tour, including old-fashioned jigsaw puzzles and indoor games made with household items. Chairs will be set up in the Art Gallery and Drawing Room for guests to sit while working on their knitting, crocheting, or small quilting projects while enjoying the period organ music and current art exhibit, "We Are Here." Tours of the house will be offered throughout the day and will focus on the Hill family's involvement with the Winter Carnival and how they and other St. Paul residents survived, and even enjoyed and celebrated, Minnesota's most famous season. Sat: 10am-4pm, Sun: 1-4pm
