Exultate kicks off its 18th season with a delightfully varied Fall Chamber Classics concert. Hear George Frederic Handel's brilliant, flashy Dixit Dominus. Written at the young age of 22, this work is incredibly challenging for choir, orchestra and soloists - a barrage of fast and furious passages that will keep you on the edge of your seat! Contrasting is the reverent and devotional Mass in G by Franz Schubert. Written in 1815, this shorter mass ends with the hauntingly beautiful Agnus Dei - Lamb of God. Included also will be a concerto and two colorful choral selections - a warm and moving setting of the Scottish folk-song, Loch Lomand and Mata del Anima Sola, a toe tapping Venezuelan rousing song. Something for everyone! "I love the variety of styles and sounds at each Exultate concert." - Concertgoer
