Tickets: $12 Adults, $5 Seniors and students with ID Starting time: 7:30pm We are pleased to be partnering with the Minnesota Music Coalition to host another Caravan du Nord evening of Minnesota based contemporary music.
Headlining the evening will be Night Moves, a Minneapolis band whose catchy combination of MGMT-like vocals, country strains, and electronic production have made them an up-and-coming Current Radio favorite. Featuring members of Mouthful of Bees, Food Pyramid, and Battle Royal, Night Moves have been named a "newish" band to keep an eye.
Southwire is a Duluth based band that is "Part gospel, part folk, the group evokes basement revivals and post-church, front porch jams. Frontwoman Jerree Small’s vocal abilities are incomparable, and her deep, hearty crooning is bolstered by smoldering spoken word passages from Ben Larson." -Andrea Swenson, Local Current Blog
Opening the night will be local favorite Mike Munson. Mike's blues tinged guitar playing has made him a popular feature around the region and was recently featured on Wisconsin Public Radio's "Wha'd Ya Know featuring Michael Feldman" nationally syndicated show.
