The case will display three types of Native American objects representing the traditional craft work of the region. These objects (most from the Woodland tribes) include beaded bandolier bags, moccasins, and quillwork boxes. Bandolier bags are examples of objects worn decoratively during ceremonial gatherings. The moccasins embody decoration and functionality, and the quillwork boxes show a method of ornamental design popular before the introduction of 19th century European glass beads.
