  • Off State Highway 4, 6 miles south of Fairfax or 12 miles north of Sleepy Eye, then follow the signs to the park.

Other Date Information

  • Fort History Center Opens in May With hours of Friday-Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 12-5 from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Open Saturday and Sunday only from Labor Day to mid-October.

    Minnesota's 4th oldest State Park. The Park offers a historic site, camping, rental farm house, hiking, horse riding trails, bike trail to Fairfax, nine hole golf course, X-Country Skiing, snowmobile trails, and sliding hills.
