    Come and celebrate Bean Hole Days in Pequot Lakes July 12th, 2017! The huge cast iron kettles of beans are buried on July 11th so they can cook overnight and be served free of charge on July 12th at noon.

    It's time to dig out Thor, Big Bertha, Ole, Sven, Lena and Baby Olga for the Pequot Lakes Bean Hole Days celebration July 12th. It's a time for thousands to gather as they share a free lunch of baked beans, a dinner roll, and a beverage. The fun begins with the Paddle Hunt - your first clue will be released at 9 a.m. July 11 On Tuesday night, the baked beans are buried in the ground and on Wednesday, the celebration culminates with the raising of the beans, a Queen and King Bean Coronation, an arts and crafts fair, food market, children's games, and of course, lunch!

    All parade entries must be pre-registered by June 27, 2016 - and sign up today!

    County Rd 112 will be closed to thru traffic starting at 11 a.m. Parking is available at TDS and the Pequot Lakes High School (cross at stoplights). Handicapped parking is available on Government Drive, East Butler Street, St. Alice Church,and Old Hwy 371 (Pequot Lakes Dental). Spaces will be marked. Be sure to arrive early!

    PARKING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ALONG THE PARADE ROUTE OR ON COUNTY RD 11. VEHICLES WILL BE TICKETED AND TOWED!
