    Singing, buzzing, jumping, flying, it’s fun to catch and release grasshoppers and other bugs in the gardens and trails. Use jars, nets and magnifying lenses to help you catch, observe and understand these amazing creatures.

    Walk the nature center trail to identify prairie grasses, wildflowers, shrubs, and trees. Hear fascinating stories of their history and lore. Taste some edible ones, and learn which ones to avoid. Enjoy a cup of cold sumac “lemonade”.
