Fasching ("fah-shing")- a German Mardi Gras with music, dancing, ethnic food and drink, and a hilarious "Parade of Costumes" in the evening. It's held the same day as Bock Fest and people often go from one to the other event.
It's sponsored by The Concord Singers and since 2006 it has expanded to include "Capture the Mayor" on Friday by "The Narren" - masked characters. Downtown is decorated in rags a German peasant tradition. Call the Visitor Center at 1-888-463-9856 for crazy details!
