Aug 18, 2013The 5 km is fairly flat & fast. Starts by the tennis courts in the park and finishes on the Heartland Trail with the 1/2 marathon participants. The Half Marathon is a scenic run around Fishhook Lake (clockwise). There will be aid stations available. The entire run will be on pavement. The first 5 miles are flat, the next 7 have rolling hills and the final mile is flat (on the Heartland Trail).
