Nov 3, 2013A German holiday tradition for families and children of all ages! Enjoy German pastries and mulled wine or cider while making lanterns for the ages-old St. Martin's Day parade. Learn the legend of St. Martin. Then, at dusk, take your lantern and follow St. Martin as he rides his horse around Rice Park, as you and over 400 guests light-up the night in a lantern foot-parade!
In the spirit of St. Martin's legend, please bring a donation of a gently-used child's winter coat, or hat/scarf and/or gloves to this event.
