    Tour the areas of the Historic Washington County Court House, 101 W. Pine St., that are closed to the public 364 days of the year. Visit the Dome, Basement, Sheriff’s Residence and the 1870-1900 jail. When the building was completed in 1870, a Sheriff’s residence was part of the structure. Sheriffs and their families lived onsite from 1870 until 1962. Visitors will have a chance to see where the sheriff lived and learn about the sheriff’s wife and her many duties. Suggested donation is $5 for adults and $1.00 for children.

    Stillwater's Harvest Fest celebrates the beautiful fall colors amidst the region's Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off. Growers from the region bring pumpkins weighing 1500 pounds and up while the locals celebrate with pumpkin baking and decorating, a chili cook off, micro brew beer and wine tasting, Giant Pumpkin Boat Race on the St. Croix River, tractor pull, live music and street dance, haunted caves tours, kids' activities and more. Saturday and Sunday in Lowell Park, next to the Historic Lift Bridge, in Stillwater.

    STILLWATER TWINKLE PARADE for children starts at the Dock Cafe at 4PM with the Teddy Bear Band on Sat, Dec. 7th. Children are given twinkle lights, cookies and hot chocolate. Mrs. Claus leads the parade along the river to the Gazebo where there is a tree lighting ceremony, Santa's arrival on a fire truck and fireworks. The event ends at approx. 6PM. Bring the kids!
