River Sojourn features the work of Minnesota artist Sara Lubinski, whose work draws inspiration from the Upper Mississippi River region and the romanticism of the Hudson River School painters.
A former botanist, Lubinski had the opportunity to spend many years gaining a better scientific understanding of the Mississippi River environment and its unique ecology. Today, however, it is the beauty of the Upper Mississippi where Lubinski currently draws her inspiration.
