2015 Travel Marketing Award Nominations Due
Nominations for the 2015 Tourism Marketing Awards presented by Explore Minnesota Tourism are due by Monday, November 30. The awards are given annually at the Explore Minnesota Tourism Conference and will be presented on February 2 at the Sanford Center in Bemidji, Minnesota.
Promoting Tourism Through Bass Fishing
Minnesota has roughly 2,000 largemouth bass lakes and 550 smallmouth bass lakes throughout the state. According to a 2012 DNR Bass Management report, bass anglers fish more each year than non-bass anglers, and fish more from boats, piers, shorelines and by ice fishing than non-bass anglers.
