SMTA to Hold Meeting and Seminar in Mankato

The Southern Minnesota Tourism Association (SMTA) will hold their May meeting on Thursday, May 16 in Mankato. The meeting will be held at Mankato's newest meeting facility, the Mankato Atrium, 10 Civic Center Plaza, downtown Mankato beginning with registration at 8:00 a.m. The meeting is open to the public with the registration fee $20, which includes morning break and lunch. Dorian Grilley, executive director of the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota, will present a seminar titled "Bicycle Tourism and How to Get Your Business or Community Bike Friendly Status," beginning at 9:00 a.m. As a bonus, Cynthia Messer of the U of M Tourism Center will inform the attendees about the Tourism Center's Festival & Event Management Program.
