Exploreminnesota.com Website Traffic Up this Summer

Overall visits to www.ExploreMinnesota.com were up 13 percent in July over July 2012, from 489,567 to 554,151. Access to the site via mobile devices increased by 52% for the same period, reaching 134,080 visits, with the tablet portion up more than 70%. The website will be transitioning to fall content the week of August 19.
In the first one-year period July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013 tracked direct referrals from Explore Minnesota to business websites, there were an impressive 1,445,000 click-throughs. Analytics continue to show that listings with paid enhancements and/or featured search buys obtain substantially higher numbers of these referrals.
The Explore Minnesota e-newsletters also continue to be popular, having grown to nearly 200,000 total subscriptions. The weekly events and fishing newsletters have the highest open and click-through rates during the summer months, and the birding report, though small in total number of subscribers, has high engagement levels as well.
