It’s Time to Update Your Listing on ExploreMinnesota.com
Release Date: Feb 11, 2014
Last month, Explore Minnesota Tourism sent out an email reminder to update listings on ExploreMinnesota.com. Accommodations, attractions and destination marketing organizations may have received this reminder. With the launch of the redesigned website just around the corner, it’s even more important that you review your information on the state’s travel website.
EMT launched a new online Tourism Manager system several months ago to make it even easier to update your information. And through extensive user testing, we learned that travelers love pictures and consumer reviews to help with their vacation planning. We offer both! With a basic free listing, you can upload a photo that will appear on your listing page. Check the “Reviews” box to bring in reviews from TripAdvisor.com right to your personalized listing.
Do you have a Summary Description in your search results text (right below your description)? This shows up when your listing appears in search results. Have you verified your rates (under Amenities)? Has your email or website changed (under Street Address & Public Contact Information)? Have your opening and closing dates changed (under Advanced)? These are just a few of the very important things a traveler will look for on your listing.
If you have any questions, please email email@example.com or contact April Mullenix at 651-757-1855 or Kim Kinsler at 651-757-1847.
Please note: We have had reports of users experiencing problems using Internet Explorer 11 with the Tourism Manager. We recommend that you use an alternate browser such as Firefox or Chrome if you find IE unresponsive. Earlier versions of IE will work correctly.
