#OnlyinMN Hashtag Produces Impressive Results on Social Media

Since launching the “Only in Minnesota” campaign last month, Explore Minnesota has seen wide adoption of the hashtag #OnlyinMN across every social media channel. As of April 25, the hashtag generated more than 5.7 million possible impressions on Twitter alone and was used more than 5,000 times across Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and forums/blogs.
The hashtag continues to be used by consumers, tourism businesses, local and national media outlets, and even politicians and other key influencers. Notable users have included Governor Mark Dayton, U.S. Senator Al Franken, Weather Channel meteorologist Jim Cantore, Travel Channel’s Andrew Zimmern and Doomtree Records.
