Attract Visitors This Fall with the Minnesota Explorer
Release Date: Jun 03, 2014
The fall 2014 edition of the Minnesota Explorer travel newspaper is in the works, so make plans now to reach a wide audience with an ad or community listing in this key publication. The Explorer is published by Explore Minnesota Tourism in partnership with the Star Tribune, and it continues to be a very popular travel planning piece for consumers.
Explorer editorial is designed to spur travel, providing plenty of ideas for vacations and getaways. It includes the state’s only comprehensive calendar of arts, sports, and festivals and events. With fall trip ideas across Minnesota, this is a great place to feature your destination.
Community listings – open to visitors bureaus, chambers of commerce, and tourism promotional organizations – and display advertising are sold by the Star Tribune. In addition, the Explorer is now published in a tabloid size, so advertising appears more prominently on the page.
More than 350,000 copies will be printed, including insertion into the metro distribution of the Star Tribune on Sunday, Aug. 17. Explore Minnesota Tourism will distribute 85,000 copies to consumers as part of its fall marketing and at welcome centers across the state.
Place your ad or listing by Thursday, July 3, by calling the Star Tribune at 612-673-7009 or 800-829-8742.
