Register Now for Inaugural Water Trails Tourism Summit

Plan to attend the inaugural Water Trails Tourism Summit on Sept. 29-30, 2014, at River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud. The event will focus on how paddle sports can increase outdoor recreation tourism, foster economic development, build a sense of community, and provide a better quality of life.
Explore Minnesota Tourism, the Department of Natural Resources, St. Cloud Area CVB and the National Park Service are partnering with several organizations and businesses to present the summit. Experiential learning sessions on the Mississippi River will be offered on Monday, Sept. 29, and classroom educational sessions will be held at the convention center on Tuesday, Sept. 30.

· Recruiting & supporting paddle sport businesses
· Engaging your community in marketing area water trails
· Organizing and promoting water trail events and stewardship
