2013 Governor's Pheasant Hunting Opener Event Proposals Sought

Explore Minnesota Tourism is seeking proposals to host the 2013 Governor's Pheasant Hunting Opener event. This event is held annually and is coordinated by Explore Minnesota Tourism, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and a host community/tourism organization. Event dates are October 11-13, 2013, and it will mark the 3rd anniversary of this event.
 
Proposals will be accepted from community organizations such as chambers of commerce, convention and visitor bureaus, or a committee formed specifically for the event. A specially formed committee must show documentation of active support from local organizations. Extensive community involvement and support is necessary for a successful event.
