Women in Lodging To Host Winter CONNECT Event

The Upper Midwest Chapter of the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Women in Business is holding the 2013 Winter CONNECT Event on Wednesday, January 23 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Best Buy Corporate Campus, 7601 Penn Avenue South, Richfield. A panel discussion with female hospitality/travel industry professionals will focus on career development, work-life balance, and more.

The panel includes:

• Sunny Bhakta  - General Manager/Owner, Comfort Inn, Lakeville; incoming president, Minnesota Lodging Association (MLA); and member of Asian Hotel Owners Association (AHOA)
• Carol Johnson - multimedia advertising specialist, AAA /CAA
• Joy Linsday - vice president, Human Resources, Americas, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group
• Amie Burrill - executive director, Burnsville Convention & Visitors Bureau
