Explore Minnesota Tourism Publications Research

Release Date: Jul 28, 2012

Research conducted by SMARI in 2008. Explore Minnesota Tourism (EMT)evaluated their publications, including insight into the travel planning process, the role of print publications, their impact on travel, and evaluations of specific Minnesota publications. Usage of the Internet to gather travel information has become the norm, but people still use printed publications. A key question addressed in this study is how printed publications integrate with on-line resources to meet consumers informational needs.
