2016 Group Tour events
American Bus Association (ABA): Louisville, KY
Marketplace: January 9-12, 2016
This leading business event in the group travel industry brings North American tour and motorcoach operator buyers and travel industry sellers together for one-on-one tour itinerary planning appointments. The event also features many professional development seminars and networking opportunities. Approx cost: $2600, includes annual membership, Marketplace registration, flights, accommodations and meals.

National Tour Association (NTA): Atlanta, GA
Travel Exchange (annual conference): January 31-February 4, 2016
EMT will be participating in this annual trade show in 2016 with other industry colleagues.
Heartland Travel Showcase: Grand Rapids, MI
Showcase: February 5-7, 2016
This trade show focuses on Midwest destinations and surrounding tour operators. EMT will be attending in 2016.
Circle Wisconsin Midwest Marketplace: Madison, WI
Regional tour operator tradeshow: April 17-19, 2016. EMT will be attending in 2016.
Travel Alliance Partners: Duluth, MN
Annual TAP Dance: June 5-9, 2016. EMT will be attending this event.
Annual Spring Winnipeg Sales Mission
Every spring, a group of industry representatives from all over Minnesota head to Winnipeg to meet with travel agents, tour operators and travel media in the Winnipeg area. We also interact with employees and members of the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA). The feedback from this trip is always positive and the group continues to grow each year. This is a very economical way to market your destination, property or attraction to our neighbors to the north. Did you know that Canadian Travelers spent over $250 million in MN in 2012 and stayed over at least one night? Let’s build more excitement to visit MN!
Travel Media Association of Candada (TMAC)
Every year, members of TMAC gather for its Conference and Annual General Meeting. The writers and photographers who comprise the Media membership are the country’s leading movers and shakers in print, radio, television and the web (from blogging to social media). They come together with Industry members over the course of four days to make new contacts and gather story ideas for upcoming features.
Student & Youth Travel Association (SYTA)
SYTA is the trusted resource for educators, administrators, parents, and travel professionals and will help navigate everything student and youth travel. Their members understand that travel is a key part of a complete education, and are committed to providing student and youth travelers with safe, rich, and rewarding travel experiences. SYTA’s annual conference is typically scheduled for the end of August.
EMT is not a current member of SYTA.
International Motorcoach Group (IMG)
IMG is dedicated to providing premier ground transportation to each and every client through elevated standards of performance in the areas of safety, maintenance, customer service, driver training, equipment, operations and on-road support.
