-Minnesota Sports Grassroots Event, May 30, 2013 at the National Sports Complex, Blaine
Minnesota Sports is a collaboration of communities, organizations and Explore Minnesota Tourism, working to bring regional, national and international sports competitions and tournaments to Minnesota. On Thursday, May 30, Minnesota Sports will host a grassroots event to collaborate with those in Minnesota who play a role in sports event development. The goal is to increase extreme, mainstream and adapted sports events held in Minnesota. The initiative seeks to grow competitions at all levels - events that use a bid process to select locations and "Home Grown" events that are developed locally.
Chambers and CVB's in communities marketing to regional and national sporting events may participate in sponsoring this event. Cost to sponsor is $200. To download a sponsorship form click here. Please note if the form is received after April 15, sponsor may not be listed in the event invitation.
