Cedar Point is a family run resort on North Star Lake. We are in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest on the Edge of the Wilderness Scenic Road-Way.

North Star Lake is a 1000+ acre crystal-clear spring-fed lake. Its scenic beauty is awesome with trees growing right to the water's edge. With its many bays, you will feel as if you have the lake to yourself! It is an excellent fishing lake with a variety of structure and fish: walleye, northern, bass, muskie, sunfish, crappie, and perch. Cedar Point offers a Summer Fish Contest and a $1,200 Fall Fish Contest.

Our cozy Lodge serves as a gathering place where guests may play pool or games, watch TV or just chat. Enjoy the large deck facing the lake! We have some scheduled kids activities. In the lodge we serve food and snack items all day. We offer a gift shop and, for your convenience, we have wireless internet, boats, motors, deluxe fishing boat, pontoons, live bait and boat gas available.

Go ahead spend some time outside. Cedar Point is a safe place for kids!

We have 7 RV and tent sites available. Campers have separate docks on their side of the point just for them!

Cedar Point Resort is open from the opening of the fishing season (mid May) through the first weekend of October. There are special discounted rates in the spring and fall. Labor Day and Memorial Day cabin special: Stay 3 nights get the 4th night free! Cedar Point is open for Deer Hunting. One of our cabins is available year round!

We have something for everyone! We have great fishing in this spring-fed DNR-managed lake! Plus HEATED SWIMMING POOL with large sundeck, SANDY BEACH, 8 x 16 foot swim raft in lake, rec room, lodge with meals, wireless internet, free use of canoes, kayaks and paddleboats, free boat or dock space with cabin, boat launch, playground, horseshoes. Our air-conditioned cabins have the real northwoods feel. Most are within 20 feet of shore. Many activities/attractions in area. Camping available.
