We have found that life's busy pace has started to affect our guest's vacations. No longer can families go up to the lake for a relaxing 1 or 2 week vacation. More and more families and couples are looking for a long weekend or a short mid-week get-away. Now, at Bear Paw Resort, we can accommodate you with short stays. Come up north for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation with your family. Enjoy quiet days together without the interruptions of everyday life. Awaken to songs of birds outside your window, smell the fresh air and fragrant scent of the towering pines surrounding you, listen to the waves softly lapping the lakeshore and feel yourself unwind in this peaceful environment. Spend your days fishing for walleye, northern, crappie, bass and panfish on beautiful Two Inlets Lake or bask in the sun's warmth on our sandy beach. Take a day off from enjoying our resort and go exploring the Park Rapids area. Tour Itasca State Park's natural beauty and visit the headwaters of the Mississippi River where you can walk across this great river right where it begins. Go sightseeing, shopping, hiking, biking, golfing (many courses in the area-one within walking distance), or visit some of the many tourist attractions the Park Rapids area has to offer. At the end of a fun day, sit back and enjoy the company of friends and family while roasting marshmallows around our nightly campfire. Let the natural beauty of a glorious sunset be the perfect backdrop for the chorus of loons and all the night sounds of this beautiful lake settling in for the night.
