The Geneva Lake Wildlife Management Area is on the northwest corner of Geneva Lake. During spring and fall migrations large flocks of waterfowl can be spotted. Species that can be found include Canada goose, mallard, wood duck, northern shoveler and gadwall, and diving ducks such as canvasback, redhead, ring-necked duck, lesser scaup and bufflehead. Other species include American pelican, pied-billed and western grebes, yellow-headed blackbirds, great blue herons, and bald eagles.
