Allen and Son, the Bickle House represents the quintessential American Foursquare design popular in the early twentieth century. The home’s historical significance is associated with resident Ann Bickle, an extraordinary volunteer and civic leader who organized the community’s hospital auxiliary and founded the state’s auxiliary, the second in the country.
