  • Valleyfair - Shakopee

I love going to Valleyfair! It's so fun. There are tons of different rides. I like the Mad Mouse roller coaster because it's really scary. It looks like it's going to go off the tracks when you're on it. The spinning rides are fun, too. I have to make sure I don't ride next to my sister on the Scrambler because I always slide into the person I'm sitting with when it starts to go really fast. There are lots of water rides, too. I like to get soaked on the Flume. Sometimes we get to try one of the games. One time we won a big pink gorilla!

  • International Wolf Center - Ely

The wolves at the International Wolf Center were awesome. I'd never seen a wolf in the wild before that. One of them came up to the glass and started staring at me. I went up to the window, and he stayed there. He was so close! The two white wolves were the coolest. I liked when they all started howling. I wish I was a wolf. A person at the Wolf Center told us about all the neat things they can do. It would be so cool!

  • Tower-Soudan Underground Mine - Soudan

The Tower-Soudan Mine Tour is fun because it's spooky. We got to wear hard hats and go underground in an elevator. It was a really long way down. Then we went for a ride on a train in the tunnels. The tour leader told us about the people who used to work there. He let me hold a big piece of iron ore. It made my hands really dirty, so I wiped them off on his shirt. On the way back out of the mine, we saw a lot of bats sleeping upside down on the ceiling. My mom was really freaked out!

  • Alpine Slide - Lutsen

One of the most exciting places to go is the Alpine Slide because it's so fast! First you ride to the top of the hill on a chairlift, and then you slide down a track on a sled. It's really cool. There are lots of turns and tunnels and steep parts. I like to race my sister. I always win. Sometimes I ride with my dad on the sled. We both scream all the way down.

  • Park at the Mall of America - Bloomington

The Park at the Mall of America is my favorite thing in the mall. It's right in the middle, and there are lots of cool rides. I like Legoland, too. They have lots of really cool giant things made out of Legos, like dinosaurs. I wish I could make stuff like that, but I don't think I have enough Legos at my house. Oh, and Underwater World is awesome, too. There's a moving sidewalk that goes through an aquarium. There are sharks and stingrays and stuff swimming right over your head! They had lots of sharp teeth.

The Twins rock! It's so awesome when we get to go to a game at the Metrodome. Sometimes we hang down by the field during warm-ups to try to get autographs. My favorite player is Torii Hunter! My favorite thing about the games is the food. I get to have a hotdog, popcorn, and cotton candy. I like the pretzels with cheese also. I collect baseball cards.

  • Kelley Farm - Elk RIver

The Kelley Farm is cool because it's a real farm that's really old. The people who work there are dressed up in old clothes, too. They show you what it's like to work on a farm and teach you how to make stuff, like how to make soap.
