Rivers, Trails & Conservation Assistance Program

The Rivers, Trails, & Conservation Assistance Program is the community outreach arm of the National Park Service. Staff provide technical assistance to communities so they can conserve rivers, preserve open space, and develop trails and greenways.

State of Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Parks and Trails Division

The DNR works with citizens to manage the state’s natural resources, to provide outdoor recreation opportunities, and to provide for commercial uses of natural resources in a way that creates a sustainable quality of life. The DNR, Division of Parks and Trails manages 72 state parks and recreation areas, 21 state trails, and other public lands.

Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities Area
