Who's behind all of this, anyway?
It takes a village, a town, a city, a suburb – and a lot of very dedicated organizations and people to make Minnesota the bike friendly state that it is. These organizations are the partners that make Pedal Minnesota possible.
Minnesota Department of Transportation
MnDOT strives to create a safe, efficient and sustainable transportation system that gets you where you want to go. Minnesota Department of Health
The Minnesota Department of Health protects, maintains, and improves the health of all Minnesotans by ensuring we have access to safe and healthy places to be physically active. They leverage partnerships and use the best scientific data and methods to guide policies and actions, working to make the healthy choice the easy choice for Minnesotans.
National Park Service
Minnesota is home to five units of the National Park System and a segment of the North Country National Scenic Trail. The Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is located in the heart of the Twin Cities. National Parks are only a part of what NPS brings to our communities. The Rivers, Trails & Conservation Assistance Program works with partners to offer advice, technical assistance, recognition and funding in an effort to revitalize communities and create close-to-home recreational opportunities.
