If you are looking for a scenic place to vacation but still close enough to Grand Rapids and other attractions to keep everyone in your group happy, come to Loon Point Resort. Accommodations include classic two and three bedroom cabins, three new large, log cabins, a secluded cabin off the resort, and an 1800 sq. ft. lakehome accom. up to 14 persons.

Enjoy the lake activities and our 42 acres of forest. Loon Point is a quality resort that is perfect for couples, families, reunions and avid fisherman. Your perfect "get away from it all and do what you want to do" vacation is awaiting you at Loon Point Resort - the only resort on Wasson Lake, a 450-acre lake with no public access. Sport fisherman will enjoy uncrowded fishing for smallmouth and largemouth bass, northern pike, crappies and bluegills.

In addition, you'll enjoy swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, stand up paddling, lounging on the beach, sitting around the campfire, and hiking the numerous trails on and near the resort. The playground and water trampoline will keep the kids entertained for hours.

Nearby Grand Rapids provides numerous sites to take in, including the Forest History Center, and both Scenic State Park and Hill Annex Mine State Park are within 30 minutes of the resort. Several restaurants are within 5 - 10 minutes of the resort.

Winter guests enjoy direct access to the hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails as well as the numerous cross country ski trails in the area. Dogsledding adventures may also be arranged upon request.
