Island View Lodge is located on Rainy Lake 12 miles east of International Falls at the entrance to Voyageurs National Park. We offer 14 air conditioned cabins ranging in size from a one bedroom log cabin up to a 6 bedroom sundeck cabin. We also have lodge rooms (motel units), restaurant, Victorian Gift Shop, american plans, lounge, game room, satellite TV, swimming beach, playground, boat rental and guide service. Island View Lodge is a full service year round resort located at the west entrance to Voyageurs National Park. Our Lodge is actually built over the water in front of "The" best view on the lake. We have comfortable lodge/motel units on the second floor of the lodge all with TV, telephone, air conditioning, private bath and outside access. We also have 12 cabins that range in size from a cozy one bedroom log cabin to a 6 bedroom Sun Deck Cabin. Most of our cabins are built right on the shoreline with beautiful views. Our restaurant is fine dining yet casual. You can also grab a walleye sandwich or burger in our lounge and enjoy it with a refreshing drink in our air conditioned lounge or out on the deck. Whatever location you choose it will have the same beautiful view.
