A year round resort on the Eastern shore of Big Turtle Lake - 12 miles N of Bemidji, MN. We are a five lake chain in the Buena Vista State Forest. We have 14 cabins, 2 poolside suites, indoor pool, reunion building, fishing, winter activities, and much more -- all in a family oriented setting. Big Turtle has 1,436 acres of clear water with walleye, bass, northern pike, crappie, bluegill and other sunfish. We offer Boat ramp; Ponoon & Jet Ski rentals, bait and gas onsite. We are a family oriented resort with a clean sandy beach and playground in a park-like setting. The lodge has a deck with outdoor spa, indoor pool, sauna, video games, pool table and two poolside suites. Kohl's is a year round resort with much to offer. Daily family/children's activities & amenities included. Water trampoline, kayaks, canoes, fun bugs, ping pong, and more. There are 13 spaciously located - one to five bedroom cabins and a ten bedroom family reunion villa. All cabins are carpeted/tiled, and have full kitchens with microwaves, some with fireplaces, air conditioned, screened porches and/or decks, a grill and fire ring. Enjoy:fishing, birdwatching (over 200 species in area)golf, Paul Bunyan, shop Bemidji, Mississippi Headwaters, Mississippi River canoe trips, cross-country ski trails, downhill ski Buena Vista, groomed snowmobile trail access on-site. - Directions to Facility / Event: From Bemidji take Hwy 71 N to CR 15, exit on 15 and go N for approx 3.5 mi to CR 22. Take right and go approx 2.5 mi, turn L at Kohl's sign and follow dirt road 1/2 mi, turn left into Kohl's resort.
