Selvig House is the perfect setting from which to explore the many sights, tastes, and activities of the area. The Dr. Carlus Selvig home has been beautifully restored with new plumbing, electrical, heating system and central air conditioning. All the original woodwork, wood floors and beveled leaded glass remain as does the original charm of the Selvig family home. The house features four guest rooms, large living and dining areas, a comfortable enclosed porch, and a large yard for relaxation. An elegant candlelight breakfast is served in the dining room at a time requested by the guests.
There are many things to see and do in Historic Bluff Country. Harmony is located in the heart of Minnesota's largest Amish community where you can tour Amish farms and purchase baskets, hand-crafted furniture, baked goods and crafts. You can bike/hike/ski/blade on our newly completed Harmony-Preston Valley State Trail which connects to the Root River State Trail (60 miles of connected paved trails). Harmony is the home of Niagara Cave and near Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park. Enjoy historic sites, antique/gift shopping, canoeing, Trout fishing, great local restaurants and fine dining as well.
