We feature a complete indoor water park with two huge slides, a Lazy River, and a separate kiddies pool with an exciting array of features that younger children are simply enchanted by. The Comfort Suites/Rapid River Lodge of Baxter, is one of Northern Minnesota's most unique hotels and water parks. Our Up-North warmth and comfort comes from a well trained and friendly staff. Our family friendly water park boasts a 250 ft. tube slide, 240 ft. body slide and a lazy river complete with a waterfall and rapids. The kiddy pool is a spectacular array of slides and water features with a tree fort that children are absolutely enchanted with. The whirlpool actually extends outside for four seasons of fun. A sauna, video arcade and exercise room will compliment your experience. Our suites are adorned with custom, locally created cedar furniture and tables and our beds are top of the line Serta Comfort Sleepers. Our Savory Starts hot breakfast will appeal to appetites of all ages. Our meeting room is well lit and new. It can be rented by the half or full day and will comfortably seat 30 people classroom or 50 people theatre style. Our 68 Suites are complete with sofa beds, refrigerators, microwaves, hairdryers, iron and ironing boards, coffee makers, & 25 inch TVs. We have 50 cable channels free HBO. We feature a variety of suites including two room, three room, fireplace and whirlpools. Other amenities include free local phone calls, gift shop, guest laundry, computor, fax & copy service and a complimentary newspaper Monday-Friday. Free high speed internet is in all rooms. We are 100% smoke free and pet free.
