Located near the Mississippi Headwaters in the heart of Itasca State Park is “Minnesota’s Own Resort,” the historic Douglas Lodge. Constructed between 1903-1905, the lodge was the first building to serve visitors in Itasca State Park. It contains guest rooms, meeting rooms, a dining room, lobby & office. A variety of other lodging facilities are available, from log cabins to the Clubhouse, a ten-room log building ideal for family gatherings.

- Directions to Facility / Event: The East Entrance to Itasca State Park is 23 miles north of Park Rapids on U.S. Hwy 71. From Bemidji, the East Entrance is 30 miles south on U.S. Hwy 71. From Bagley, the North Entrance is 21 miles south on State Hwy 92/U.S. Hwy 200.
