Historic setting, Jacuzzi suites and free high speed "wireless" internet access. Cozy pub with a fireplace, restaurant and renovated hotel rooms. The hotel where Sinclair Lewis worked as a night clerk. Built in 1901, the Palmer House replaced a previous hotel that was destroyed by fire. Then, salesmen traveling by rail regularly used the hotel for business meetings and relaxation. Today, travelers relax in the spacious lobby where salesmen worked. The entire facility is documented haunted.
