Ours is a family resort, owned and operated with a spirit of pride in offering the finest accommodations, and warm hospitality to our guests. The Millers have owned and operated Wishbone Resort for over 25 years.

Wishbone Resort is for the true boating, fishing and water enthusiast, situated on the Cass Lake Chain of Lakes and located in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest. You'll find paddle boating, kayaking, canoeing, sailing and some of the finest Walleye, Perch, Northern and Muskie fishing, all right at our ground/ lake level resort.

Cabins feature large living/dining areas and bedrooms with modern kitchens with all standard appliances, including electric coffee maker, toaster & microwave. Kitchen towels, bath mat, comfortable furniture and beds. Satellite TV’s in all cabins, charcoal grills, picnic tables, all cabins have 3-season screened porches and/or sun-decks.

The resort includes a spacious rustic lodge and full bar featuring beer, wine and liquor, pool table, darts and jute-box overlooking Cass Lake with ample seating for large gatherings, air-conditioned, large screen TV. A heated outdoor pool with a large patio area. Groceries pop & candy, ice cream treats and fishing tackle, etc. and Laundromat is also available.

In the spring and fall take advantage of our Mini American Plans along with our Fishing Packages & Specials featuring Home Cooked hearty American fare; Breakfast and Dinner available!

There is ample safe dock space & boat slips for your private boat or one of our rental boats & pontoons on our excellent docking facilities that are lighted all night long for the safety of our guests. We have premium boat gas and bait at the dock that our fantastic dock boys will assist you with. On-site fish cleaning facilities, chest freezer space is available for our guest to use.

Beginning winter 2010/2011 we are opening up the resort for winter Ice fishing enthusiasts! Come fish with us and stay in one of our 6 winter cabins or in our NEW comfortable 8-hole, Day or Sleeper Ice Houses, featuring direct vent heaters, 12 volt lights & 110 outlets, chairs, insulated windows and carpet. The heat will be on and the holes will be drilled on your arrival. Early ice we will transport you to & from the fish houses. During the full freeze you can easily drive out on our plowed road to and from the resort. Snowmobiles & 4-Wheelers are welcomed during the winter season ONLY! Other items you should bring to stay in sleeper fish house include fishing gear, food, towels, bedding, cookware & dinnerware. Bait, gas, tackle, ice, pop & pizzas will be sold in the lodge along with our bar & Saturday Night's Taco Bar.
