Gardenwood is located just 10 miles north of downtown Duluth, MN and adjacent to the new McQuade Harbor on Lake Superior. Gardenwood’s 13 cabins and 4 unit motel provide a comfortable “up at the cabin” experience for your next getaway! All cabins have a refrigerator and microwave or stove top, many cabins and all motel rooms have kitchenettes. Picnic tables, BBQ grills & access to fire pits with free fire wood is provided. Each cabin has Direct TV and Wireless Internet

Brother's Trip 2011

We're a finicky bunch of men who've been doing an annual Brother's trip for many years. We don't mind spending the money to get a good, clean, and cozy place to stay. finding such a place on the Internet is difficult to say the least. One of our finickiest of Brother's thought the cabin was a little small to start with but early on, he even came to appreciate all the other things the entire experience had to offer. By the end of the trip, i think we all agree, this is the only place for us when the Brothers return to Duluth. A couple real treats to point out. Lee and Pam were wonderful hosts offering tons of information about the area, sights to visit, and even picked me up from the airport. Another real treat is a nightly bonfire next to our cabin and having the space to kick back and relax. Wood provided as part of your stay...... Confortable, clean, and a real value!!!! Overall, a great experience.
